webOS 1.0.4 is available for download, doesn’t fix much
Sigh. When I saw that the new 1.0.4 was available a part of me that Palm read my post and decided to get cracking on some bigtime changes. So far, it looks like the only thing that’s improved are “security updates.”
Something tells me this has to do with people installing homebrew apps and the leak of the Mojo SDK.
I’m installing now and will report back if I find anything.
My webOS 1.0.4 wish list

After updating my Pre to 1.0.3, I have gotta say that it definitely works better and faster, so I got to thinking what other things Palm may have up its sleeve. In thinking about what great things could come with the next update I wanted to be conservative but a little daring.
First, it would be great to see Flash come to the Pre. TechCrunch reported on Flash coming to Android and it only makes sense for it to come onto other phones like the iPhone and definitely the Pre.
Next, I’d have to say that the App Catalog needs to come out of BETA. It’s a big sticking point a lot of people use to make fun of the Pre and the sooner more apps get in there the faster I can start playing around with them.
Also, it would help if Palm provided some fixes to the radios to fix a lot of the issues people have been having with their reception.
Lastly, it may seem trivial but as good as the camera is on the Pre I’d love to be able to record video. A lot has been made about how much video is being uploaded by people who have iPhones and the reality is that we all want to capture more of what goes on with us, especially when it comes to current events and citizen journalism. It can be a stand alone app or built into the phone but it would definitely be appreciated.
Do you have any things you wish Palm would put into webOS? If so, sound off in the comments.
