Customer reviews of Palm Pre show up on Sprint’s site
If you go to Sprint’s website, you’re going to find that not only can you now order the Pre online but they’ve also added ratings. The Pre isn’t doing too bad with a 3.7 out of 5 score. As you’d imagine it takes a big hit in the scoring for the battery life which is to be expected. This is a really cool innovation to help people learn about phones before they buy them as well as giving them the ability to rate them after the fact.

Palm Pre sales tops all previous Sprint phone sales
According to cnet, Sprint was extremely happy with sales which took place over the weekend for the Pre despite them not being readily available on launch day.
Sprint said:
“We experienced our best one day of sales and single weekend sales for any phone we’ve launched in our history,” he said. “We sold out of the device over the weekend in most of our store locations. And it happened at a much faster rate than we had planned on. “
It’s going to take more than a strong weekend for Palm and Sprint to start reaping the benefits of this period of exclusivity. While many Sprint stores, and Best Buy stores slowly being restocked there’s an opportunity for sales to get higher this upcoming weekend versus launch weekend.
I was actually on the waiting list at two stores (one Sprint store, and a nearby Best Buy). Both stores called me on Tuesday to let me know that they received more inventory and if I wanted to I’d be able to pick one up.
