How the Palm Pre is perfect if you cheat on your spouse
First of all, I’m not condoning infidelity. With almost half of all marriages and only who knows how many flings, and relationships ending up with people parting their ways it makes sense to know that people cheat. While I was playing with my Pre I realized that there are some features which make the Pre a great device if you are indeed trying to sneak behind the person you’re with.
The most impressive feature is the ability to erase phone calls and text messages from your logs. Of course if your spouse has or ever asks for access to your logs from your cell phone provider you’re out of luck – if not, you’re in luck. With a swipe of the finger you’re able to make it seem like those things never happened.
If you have a spouse who likes to check on your phone you can make it seem like you still care while you’re still able to enjoy your cake and eat it too. I’m sure Palm never considered that their product would be used or thought of this way but hey, lets be real. It’s 2009 and people like to do what they like to do. The good part is that if you don’t want to get caught, you should probably be using a Pre.
If you do get a hold on a number you aren’t sure about, maybe you should look it up.

Ridiculously dumb blog. All the phones I have owned had the ability to erase call logs etc. Furthermore, what made you think this post was blogworthy?

Hi Ray. Believe it or not, it’s isn’t dumb – it’s something I realized and felt was worthy of sharing. Every phone has the ability to remove call logs, you’re 100,000% right about that. Here’s the thing, with the Pre – you can remove 1 call. Not the whole log (which looks really incriminating), just 1 call. You get a text message from someone you don’t want anyone to know about, you can delete JUST that text message.
This is what make the Pre unique.
You can object personally to the content of the article, but I’m sure others understand and well enjoy. Thanks for the comment!

Actually my HTC Touch had this ability so I can’t call the Pre unique in this catagory. I admit that the Pre does make it quicker by swiping tthe single call or text away, but it is not the first phone to single out call logs or text for deletion. I love the Pre though
